Women's Ministry

At Memorial, as in the body of Christ everywhere, women serve a vital role in the ministries of the congregation.  Read more about the Memorial Women's Ministry below to find how you can be a part of a dedicated team of women growing and serving together in the Lord.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Memorial Women's Ministry is united to glorify God through the Gospel of Christ with our God-given purpose to serve in our local area and throughout the world.  Our goal is to strengthen one another through outreach, service and evangelism by demonstrating the love and heart of Christ while serving others.

VISION STATEMENT:

The Memorial Women's Ministry is a dedicated body of Christian women who love God, one another and our fellow man.  We are guided by faith in the inspired word of God, comforted and lead by His Holy Spirit and believe in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, His Son and our Savior.

GOALS OF ALL MEMORIAL WOMEN'S MINISTRIES:

  • Glorify God
  • Unite Memorial Women
  • Help Memorial Women fulfill their God given purpose to serve
  • Be evangelistic and outreaching in nature or serve Memorial family members

Branch Committee

Our Women's Ministry is organized with an oversight committee of nine that we call the "Branch Committee". This is a rotating committee that serves to surface needs and to discover ways to meet the needs. They also host an annual event to unify the women in ministry.

Women at Memorial serve in a variety of ways. They GROW as a body by teaching and attending Women's Studies and leading in our children's classes.

The women at Memorial SERVE by providing meals, wedding and baby showers for those celebrating, and extra care for those who are lonely or battling illness.

They provide ENCOURAGEMENT by sending cards, making visits and planning special women's events that provide time for worship and fellowship.

The Women at Memorial are a cross-generational, diverse group of strong ladies who love God and would love for you to come serve and grow with them.

Those serving on the Branch Committee for 2020-21 are:
