The early stages of marriage are so important in building a relationship with your spouse. It is also a great time to join other young couples in God’s community. Here at Memorial Church of Christ, we have about 50-60 active young couples. We range in age from early 20’s to late 30’s. We have taken on the name “Honeymooners,” even if it has been about 10 years since the honeymoon.

• Our youngest married class of Honeymooners average about 0-3 years of marriage with young or no children.
• Our young married class averages about 3+ years of marriage with young or no children.

Our monthly activities throughout the year include: The Houston Rodeo, a crawfish boil, an Urban Race, game night, park cookouts, a Christmas party, and other fun social events.

A few of the ministries we are involved in are: sponsoring a child, helping with Texas Children’s Hospital projects, visiting the elderly, leading worship at a nursing home, and involvement with inner city Houston Impact Church of Christ.
